bring the ruckus.

Hey there, I'm Evan.

I believe technology should enhance people's lives, not control them. I believe technology has the ability to empower, and the capacity to change culture. And at the core of that technology should be the user experience, and at its heart the user.

Tell me all about it.

Great work doesn't happen in isolation. It happens by engaging with users and stakeholders, and with colleagues at the whiteboard moving sticky notes around. I solve problems as a listener, a communicator, and a collaborator.

Humans are complex, and we bring that complexity to the technology we create and use every day. Compiling, interpreting, and integrating this into our work is integral to success. There are always questions to be asked and new information that will come to light. It's because of this I believe creating amazing user experiences should be collaborative, fun, and exploratory—and what we create can be powerful and effective.

So go fast and take chances, but keep the rubber side down.

Whether the experience needs to feel as familiar, comfortable, and efficient as riding a bicycle, or unconventional like pushing a toy lawnmower down a paved street—my commitment is to listening, learning, and working together to find the right solution.
